Mateo Salvatore LoGiudice

On March 11th, Sal and I welcomed  our newest addition to The LoGiudice Family.
Mateo was 5 weeks early weighing 4 lbs, 14 oz.
On Day 1, He needed oxygen and an IV
On Day 2, I got to hold Mateo for the first time and he was taken off oxygen
On Day 3, Mateo appeared to be jaundice and had to go under the lights
On that same day, I got to feed Mateo for the first time.
And Tavio got to see his new brother through a window.
Day 4 - Mateo's blood sugar levels were low.
And Tavio enjoyed an ice cream sundae
By Day 5, Middlesex finally decided to transport Mateo to UCONN.
So much equipment for such a little guy!

Day 6 - At UCONN, they allow siblings to visit.
As soon as Mateo arrived at UCONN, he received the proper care he needed, and quickly got better
Feeling so much better!
Mateo and Daddy!
Day 7 - Tavio and I hang out in the waiting room while Sal visits with Mateo.
And Mateo's IV was removed!
Day 8 - Eating, Pooping and Sleeping - and he graduated to a bassinet!

Day 9 - Nurse Laura (one of our favorite nurses), made this sign for Mateo
Day 10 - The doctors tell us we can take Mateo home in 2 days!
Day 11
Day 12 - Going Home!!!
Tavio was so happy to have his little brother home!
We are so blessed!!!
