Sal and I are thrilled to announce that we are pregnant! The past 3 weeks have been extremely stressful for us. At our 20 week ultrasound, we were told that the level of amniotic fluid seemed low. An appointment was scheduled for a level 2 ultrasound up at UCONN. Turns out the fluid level is fine, but the baby's intestines seemed slightly red. This could mean nothing at all or it could indicate that there is a chromosome defect. An amniocentesis was scheduled for the following day. After waiting 20 days for the results to come back from the lab, our prayers were answered this morning!!! We are going to have a healthy baby boy come April!!! We can not begin to express how relieved we are that everything is okay! What a wonderful early Christmas gift!!!
