This year, we decided to plant around our tree.
Sal did all the digging...what a pain...so many roots!
I did all the planting.
The end result...Not bad for a couple of amateurs!
Our deck - Luckily, we did not have to stain it this year. Sal's cousin did it for us!
I have no patience when it comes to staining each individual rail!
Our yard...it has come a long way. When I first bought this house, the yard was full of huge, overgrown
(and dead) trees and there was a large hole where a pool once was.

The entire left side of our house was once covered in overgrown shrubs.
Ahhh...another Memorial Weekend behind us. Now it is time to sit back and enjoy the summer!
The house and yard look great! I'll have to do a lot of work this week to keep up with you and the rest of the neighborhood!!
