Happy 1st Birthday Zoey!

Yesterday, we went to Zoey's 1st birthday party. We met Zoey and her parents at the NICU up at UCONN. Zoey was also born premature. Today, she is a beautiful, energetic bundle of joy! A Little Miracle!

Sal and I took advantage of this long weekend to clean up our yard. No picnics for us! Nothing put weeding, pruning and planting going on at The LoGiudice House.

This year, we decided to plant around our tree.

Sal did all the digging...what a pain...so many roots!

I did all the planting.

The end result...Not bad for a couple of amateurs!

When I first bought this house, the yard was full of huge, overgrown

(and dead) trees and there was a large hole where a pool once was.

While I was sleeping in this morning (boy did I need that), Sal and Tavio assembled one of his birthday gifts. I was awakened to a horn beeping over and over and screams of pure delight coming from my son!

Yesterday, the LoGiudice and Welch families got together for a nice Mother's Day brunch.

Devin's Birthday Party

Last Sunday, we celebrated Devin turning one. Tavio and Devin were both born May 2, 2008 - a bond they will share for the rest of their lives! Although the weather was not in our favor that day, we sure made the most of it.
