Spring is finally here - although...today it feels like August with temps in the 90's. Here are a couple of pictures of Tavio enjoying this great weather.

Grab Your Sneakers And Join Us!
Next Sunday, April 26th, Tavio's Team will join thousands of compassionate teams across the country that support March for Babies. Our family knows firsthand the challenges associated with prematurity. As most of you know, Tavio was born May 2, 2008 at 27 weeks, weighing 1 lb, 15 oz and measuring 14 ¼ inches long. He spent 94 days in the NICU at the UCONN Medical Center. Today, Tavio is a healthy, energetic bundle of joy. He is Our Little Miracle! The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. It is important to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. By raising money, ongoing research to answer these critical questions is funded. More information about Tavio's Team can be found at http://www.marchforbabies.org/649668.
My Mom and Dad are going to push me in my stroller for 4 miles.
I get to sit back and relax! I might even take a nap!

Lunch with the NICU Nurses
Today, Tavio and I had lunch with some of the NICU nurses. I'm so happy that we stay in touch! These ladies helped Sal and I remain sane during our 13 week NICU stay. There are not enough words to express how much we appreciate everything they did for our little man. They are remarkable people, a special team of angels.

This was a very special Easter. Not only was it Tavio's first Easter, but my half brother, Tim was here too! We had a great day.

A Very Long Day!
Last Sunday, T.D.I. competed in their 3rd competition of the season. Once again, the girls had a blast! I don't know where they get all of their energy. These pictures were taken halfway through our VERY LONG 14 HOUR DAY!
